FLORYAN

FLORYAN
As an artist and choreographer specialised in "Tribal Fusion", Floryan represents a new way of experimenting with the movement in the contemporary dance scene.

Over the past 3 years in France his contribution to this technique has made Floryan one of the pioneer for this style. After a long process of research, during which he studied with International stars such as Samantha Emanuel, Lady Fred, Ariellah, Sharon Kihara, Rachel Brice, The Uzumé, Kami Liddle and Stefanie Cérli, Floryan has created his own language, influenced by contemporary technique.

His creations are made of Elegance, Strength and Poetry.

In 2007 he began exploring various forms of body expression: improvisation, contemporary dance, contact improvisation, circus and theatre.

That same year, Floryan discovered Bellydance and Tribal Fusion and his interest was raised by the complexity of this kind of dance. Its peculiar vocabulary is made of body isolation, musicality, contemporary techniques. Then taking Western and Eastern influences, and mixing them with his creativity, Floryan found his own way, his own style, original and new, without forgetting the shared fundamentals.

In 2010, with Cristina Sagheerah, well known Italian teacher and performer, he formed the duo Artelonia Dance Company. Different paths converge in the research of a shared universe: among oriental, tribal fusion and theatre drama.
